Meet the Artist

 
 

Jeane Vogel is an award-winning fine art and portrait photographer who has spent more than 30 years crafting art with light and lenses. She uses traditional and experimental tools and techniques to expose the world of nature, faith and humankind in a singular light.

She is a juried member of the American Guild of Judaic Art and only one of 24 photographers juried as a Best of Missouri Hands artist. She also is a member of Professional Photographers of America, the Center for Fine Art Photography, Art St. Louis, and the Women's Caucus for Art.

In addition to Fine Art Photography, Jeane is in demand as a portrait photographer for families who want distinctive portraiture. She is skilled in producing heirloom portraits for all families, including people with disabilities. Her portraits offer families the opportunity to find joy and dignity in cherished images of all family members. 

Her professional volunteer work includes the Missouri Adoption Heart Gallery Project, through which professional photographers volunteer their time to produce fine art portraits of foster children available for adoption. And she is an affiliated volunteer photographer for the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, which offers bereavement infant photography at no cost to help parents and families heal.

Nationally, her work is  found in the Dangenart Gallery in Nashville, TN; Art St. Louis Little Gallery in St. Louis, MO ; Imagine on Main, in Osewgo, IL (Chicagoland); Artistic Judaic Productions in Denver; and Photographer’s Direct in London, UK.

Jeane Vogel exhibits her photography in galleries, art fairs and exhibits throughout North America.  In addition to photographic art, Jeane produces work in clay and pastels.
